IT WAS ABOUT TIME…

Hi everyone! i want to share with you what i’ve been up to, i hadn’t said anything before but i’m trying to get into a masters program in France, is been a long long journey but this week i finally sent my last application, so now i’m anxiously waiting for the results, wish me luck!. i was hoping i could relax during this time, but two months is just too much time to bear, so i’ll just try to focus on the blog instead of the calendar.
To take a bit of pressure off, i decided to go to one of my favorite places, where food is delicious and drinks are even better, Tata has the best mezcales in town, if you ever happen to be in Morelia, you have to stop by and try the “Pasion mezcalera” or try something of their always changing menu. Aside from that i also thought it was the perfect place for my next post, i want to add a little bit of interior design into the blog, a bit more of me.As for the clothes i chose this lace up top with a denim skater skirt, it was about time i caught up with the 70s wave, how do you you think it looks better? denim or leather skirt, monochromatic outfits are definitely in right now too. I really hope you enjoy this pictures, it was hard for me to choose, i think i took like 50, until next time.

Bisous!

ONE TEE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES WITH FOBIZU

I want to share with all of you my excitement! the photos of my very first collaboration with the mexican fashion brand Fobizu are finally here. As you may know if you follow me on instagram, last week i got a package from said label, it came with everything from t-shirts to thermos bottle, even a tiny tee for my puppy, i loved it all, if there’s something you should know about me is that i love receiving packages, i’m addicted to online shopping just for the joy of opening mail as if it was christmas morning, but back to the subject, i immediately started thinking about outfits for the next post, which was kind of hard since the pieces were so versatile, i love when i can transform a day look into an evening one just by changing one piece or adding a necklace. incapable to make a decision i opted to take the week to do them all.

What iss so great about the first grey tee is that i could wear it with everything, it was loose enough to tie it over a bodycon dress or use it with my favorite cutoffs and so suitable for these incredible hot days, i also think it could be great as a beach cover up. The white tee has the perfect fit, and i think it is kind of a statement piece so you just need to throw on some jeans or wear it with more sophisticated but basic pieces and you’re ready to go. So this is the final result, hope you like it.

THE OVERALL TREND

I remember when I was a kid I lived in overalls but as I grew up I started to dislike them a bit. Today I tought I’d give them a try, I picked white ones instead of the usual denim overall and I’m actually loving the look they’re super comfy and perfect to wear with a croptop in this super warm days. Would you join the trend?

BACK IN THE GAME!

Back in the game guys! Happy to tell you that I have some surprises for you, I will be revealing them in the course of the week, I’m just going to tell you that it involves a super cool mexican clothing company.

But for now, I’m just gonna leave you with my most recent post, gotta say this is one of my very favorites. Love love love 2015 fashion trends, especially the light and less structured trench coats, super easy to pull off, it goes practically with everything. The key to this trend on my opinion is to go for a more minimal approach and look for a trench coat with the perfect length, i bought this from Forever 21 and went a size up to get the knee length and to look a bit more put together I put on my fave pair of sandals .

This beautiful piece needed a co-star, this is where this lovely bucket bag from Zara enters, what caught my eyes about this bag was the drilling detail, it makes for a cool texture.

Finished all up with a white crop from American Apparel and some super comfy H&M high wasted jeans (or what I like to call mommy jeans). For the upcoming posts I will continue to show you my take on some of the most relevant trends. Until next time, kisses.

Guanajuato <3

As everybody knows this saturday was Valentine’s day. I’m single right know, and it can get a bit depressing especially on that day, so I decided to get away for the weekend with some friends, that just like me don’t have a valentine. We visited the beautiful colonial-era town of Guanajuato, Mexico, I was hoping to get some material for upcoming post unfortunately the weather was not on my side, we arrived around 6pm on saturday and it was a bit cloudy, by the time we got to the hotel checked in and left the car at the parking lot it was already 7pm, anyhow we were excited to see downtown, so we walked trough the beautiful cobblestone streets to the Juarez theater consider an architectural jewel, it was getting late to get ready and it had started to rain therefore we head back to the hotel.

We dressed up, I was planning to wear a cutout red dress but i forgot the shoes that go with and i ended up wearing a black ensemble wich was just fine since the climate didn’t allowed for bare shoulders and mini skirts. First we went to a bar called La madera, wich I loved, especially the mojitos, next it was time to go to Grill a very well known night club, the line to get in was about a block, thankfully one of my friends knew the rp or someone there and we got right in.

Next morning we woke up early to visit the town and take some pictures since we were unable the day before, we also had brunch in a charming restaurant called Van Gogh, really delicious, walked around for a while, and then we went back to Morelia, all a bit tired but pleased.

Hey guys! How’s your week going? Mine has been a bit busy finishing some paperwork so I can get my title and start a master degree, still I made some time for a new outfit post, Yes! I know the head to toe nude look is a bit overdone by now but I had to try it, is so sophisticated and minimal, I want to create more minimalist looks in the future, think it suits my new short hairstyle, this is one trend I hope never goes away, what do you think?
